Pista Sa Nayon -- SeaFair

Part of Seattle's SeaFair celebrations, Pista sa Nayon is held at Seward Park, one of the City of Seattle's pristine parks  along Lake Washington. The City of Seattle describes the park as " 300 acres of beautiful forest land - home to eagles' nests, old growth forest, a 2.4 mile bike and walking path, an amphitheater, a native plant garden, an art studio, miles of hiking trails, and more." Against this backdrop, and amongst friends and relatives, all who come to Pista vouch for a magical experience.

Community support is the key to Pista’s success.  Throughout each year, volunteers plan, meet and raise funds to ensure its success.  Over 150 volunteers work on Pista, now the largest outdoor Filipino American event in the country.  Catering to everyone from birth to community elders, it has become the essential family reunion on a wonderfully grand scale.
